From the people who brought you Savoy Night and Cafe' Le Swing, bring to you a new swing night, full of 1920's nostalgia and old town charm! Experience an authentic swing Night, that will encourage you to take a step back in time. If you love our most requested annual event, The Mobster's Ball, you'll love this new venue!

Savoy Hop Cats Presents... The Swingin' Speakeasy!

The Swingin' Speakeasy is held here in the beautiful Gaslight Inn. This luxury inn is in one of the oldest buildings in the heart of old town, surrounded by antique shops, and unique home town eateries. This distictive masonry structure was built in 1926, and survived The Prohibition! The Gaslight Inn's gorgeous architecture and old fashioned hospitality, brings Guys & Dolls dressed in their best for a luxurious evening out.

Husband and wife team, Matthew & Brittney Hughey from Savoy Hop Cats, start the night with a Beginner's Swing Dance Lesson! They'll teach you the coolest moves since the Roaring 20's! No experience or partner needed! We'll teach you all you need to know! Occasionally, special intermediate classes will be held in GasLight Inn's Art Gallery Hall for that very uniques experience.
After that, your DJ Matt will play all your favorite swing tunes, and we'll dance the night away!

If you've never tried swing dancing, this is the place! You';l; be glad you did and you have a great time. Come on out to this unique weekly event!

7:pm-7:45 pm: Beginner's Swing Dance Lesson
7:45-11:00pm: Open Dancing
(8:00-9:00pm: For $2.00 more, join the special Lindy Hop Lesson in the Art Gallery Hall)
